Being a Member Of
Membership at Hounds of Strath is free — and mandatory. Every dog in our care has a complete health, vaccination, and behavioural profile on file before they set foot on the resort floor.
From there, it's simple: casual visits at $60, or one of our three membership tiers that reward loyal residents with reduced daily rates, complimentary washes, river walks, and more.
9AM – 10AM | The Meet & Greet
The adventure begins! Our furry friends arrive at Hounds of Strath, ready to start their day. There are plenty of exciting new smells to investigate, tails to wag and humans to greet before everyone settles in.
10AM – 11AM | Let’s Get Social
Time to meet the crew! Once everyone has arrived, the dogs get a chance to check each other out, say hello and figure out who’s who.
With a mix of indoor and outdoor play, there’s plenty of room for zoomies, games, sniffing and making new four-legged friends.
12PM – 1PM | OUTDOOR ADVENTURES
By now, everyone knows each other a little better, which means it’s time to head outside!
The pack gets plenty of fresh air and space to run, play, explore and burn off some of that doggy energy. Whether they’re chasing their best mate, exploring every interesting smell or simply enjoying the sunshine, there’s always something happening.
3PM – 6PM | ZEN, PLAY & WIND DOWN
The big adventure is winding down… but the fun isn’t necessarily over!
Some pups are ready for a well-earned nap and a little zen time, while others somehow still have enough energy for more indoor play. Either way, the afternoon is all about relaxing, recharging and enjoying some calm time before Mum or Dad arrives for pick-up.
Day In The Life Of Your Dog
1PM – 2PM | HILLS HIKE
Adventure mode: ACTIVATED!
It’s time to hit the hills for a proper Hounds of Strath adventure. The dogs get to explore, sniff, wander and stretch their legs while taking in the sights and sounds of the great outdoors.
2PM – 3PM | WASH & GROOM
After all that adventuring, it’s time for a little TLC.
The pups head in for their wash and groom, getting cleaned up and looking (and smelling!) their absolute best. Because after a big day of playing, hiking and exploring, every Hounds of Strath dog deserves to finish the day feeling fresh.
We're located right next to Bonce Hair Boutique — one of the Fleurieu's best-loved hair salons, and conveniently owned by the same people. If you've ever wanted to book in for a colour and have your dog sorted at the same time, we've thought of that too.
Welcome to the only place on the Fleurieu Peninsula where both you and your dog can come out looking exceptional. This is not a gimmick. Two professional studios, side by side. It just happens to be rather clever.
